Features of the Pirscher Gear Allseason Ladies Hunting Jacket

The Pirscher Gear Allseason women's hunting jacket has an active, feminine fit. The fitted cut and extended back, in combination with the extremely stretchy material, ensure a body-hugging yet very comfortable fit. The adjustable sleeve cuffsand the width-adjustable hem prevent slipping and block out unpleasant drafts. This makes the fit perfect for active types of hunting such as stalking.

Excellent temperature management is provided by the ventilation zippers under the arms. They allow you to react quickly during more strenuous activities and release the warm air quickly.

The three-layer material construction, waterproof zippers and taped seams make the hunting jacket fully sealed and weatherproof. Behind the smooth-running front zipper with chin guard, a flap provides increased protection against wind and moisture. 

The hood of the jacket is double adjustable and has a small peak to keep rain off your face. When designing the hood, we made sure that it restricts the field of vision on the hunt as little as possible.
 
The jacket is equipped with a total of five pockets. On the outside, two chest pockets and two push pockets provide storage space for hunting equipment. Thanks to the waterproof pocket zippers, technical equipment such as radio and tracking devices also remain safely stored. The fleece pocket lining feels comfortable and warms hands on cooler hunting days. The two chest pockets are each equipped with an antenna opening and positioned so that they remain easily accessible even with a backpack strapped on. On the inside, the jacket has a zippered chest pocket for your wallet or hunting license.

Optimal camouflage effect with OPTIMAX 2S

The OPTIMAX 2S camouflage pattern was developed in cooperation with the Taiwanese camouflage pattern specialist TECL-WOOD exclusively for Pirscher Gear. The color scheme of the pattern is specially adapted to the Central European vegetation. The camo is suitable for use in forest, field or mountain areas.

The proportion of light elements in the camouflage pattern is optimized to create a high-contrast camouflage. It ensures that the hunter does not stand out as a dark spot from the background in low-light conditions at dusk, but her contours blend into the surroundings. The OPTIMAX 2S camouflage pattern combines macro and micro elements and thus optimally refracts the contours of the huntress at both close and far range.

The three-layer material structure in detail

1st layer: ADDVENTEX 5.8 membrane
The outer layer is formed by an ADDVENTEX 5.8 membrane with a water column of 5,000 mm (m²/24h) and a breathability of 8,000g (m²/24h). The higher the water column, the more waterproof but also noisier a jacket is and the worse the breathability. The moderately strong membrane in the Pirscher Gear Allseason women's jacket offers what we consider the best compromise between quietness, windproofness, rain protection and breathability.
 
The ADDVENTEX 5.8 membrane blocks light to moderate rain over a medium period of time and effectively protects against wetness. At the same time, it transfers moisture to the outside in the form of vapor. The high windproofness of the membrane prevents cooling by wind and stores body heat under the jacket. Nevertheless, the outer material is still quiet enough to use the jacket also for stalking and Ansitz.
 
2nd layer: Stretch
The job of the stretch layer is to provide maximum freedom of movement. We have chosen to use two different stretch fabrics in the jacket. One fabric is more resistant and is used in the more stressed areas. The second fabric is more elastic due to a higher stretch content and is used in the movement-intensive areas. Thus, the jacket adapts perfectly to every movement on the hunt and does not constrict.
 
3rd layer: Waffle Grid Fleece
The inner layer of the jacket is made of a warm fleece with a honeycomb structure. The honeycomb structure forms small air channels in the fleece material, through which moisture can be transported away more quickly. At the same time, the air pockets also store body heat better. This gives the hunting jacket a high insulation capacity.

This three-layer construction is the basis for wearing the Pirscher Gear Allseason women's jacket almost all year round in combination with the right underwear and a warming mid-layer.
