Features of the Pirscher Gear Bino Harness (Optimax 2S)
The outside of the binocular bag is equipped with the Optimax 2S camouflage pattern and a roughened, extremely quiet tricot fabric. This prevents rustling when brushed over and is also very robust. In the event of rain, the rain cover supplied can simply be pulled over the harness to protect the binoculars. Thanks to the camouflage pattern, the hunter's contours are perfectly blurred, especially in Central European vegetation.The main compartment is equipped with a Silde-Seal fastener, which ensures particularly quick and easy access to the binoculars. The fastener can be opened completely to prevent the binoculars from getting caught when they are removed. At the same time, it can be securely closed thanks to the drawstring and the binoculars cannot fall out.
Foam inserts of different thicknesses are integrated into the main compartment, allowing the depth of the bag to be perfectly adjusted to the binoculars. If all the inserts are removed, binoculars with a width of 17 cm and a height of 20 cm can be stowed comfortably. A small mesh pocket in the main compartment contains a cleaning cloth with a rubber cord for easy cleaning of the lenses.
There is a mesh pocket on the chest and a zip pocket on the front, which is adorned with our orange stag. Important documents can be safely stowed in these.
There are two smaller mesh pockets on the sides, in which wind testers, call and co. can be stowed for quick access. The underside is equipped with a Molle system to which, for example, a first aid kit can be attached. Attachment loops are also included for attaching smaller items of equipment.
The carrying system of the Pirscher Gear binocular bag (Optimax 2S)
The Pirscher Gear Bino Harness can be easily attached using a carrying strap. The back piece consists of a breathable mesh fabric that moulds perfectly to the back and is therefore particularly ergonomic. It is attached to the harness using four straps, all of which can be individually adjusted. At the same time, the Quick-Strap system with Duraflex fasteners allows the harness to be put on and taken off in a flash.The upper straps are each fitted with a small click fastener to which detachable binocular carrying loops can be attached. This means that the binoculars can be easily removed from the hands and cannot fall off.

Produkttest in der PIRSCH - "Optik sauber verstaut"
Jagdzeitschrift PIRSCH, Ausgabe 6/2025 vom 19.03.25: Das Bino Harness von Pirscher Gear schlug sich im Test makellos – mit einer Ausnahme... Schon seit Jahren bin ich ein großer Freund von sogenannten Bino Harness – und ebenso lange werde ich deswegen von Teilen der deutschen Jägerschaft belächelt. Umso mehr freut es mich, dass die Vorteile dieser Art des Fernglas-Tragens mittlerweile von immer mehr europäischen Firmen erkannt und Produkte auf den Markt gebracht werden. So auch von den Bayern von Pirscher Gear. Ein Bino Harness ist kurz gesagt eine Fernglas-Tasche, deren Tragesystem über die Schultern gelegt, unter den Armen hindurchgeführt und etwa mittig des Oberkörpers wieder an der Tasche fixiert wird. Das Fernglas sitzt daher vergleichsweise fest und dank "Deckel" geschützt am Oberkörper. Das Gewicht der Optik geht dank besserer Verteilung nicht mehr zu Lasen der Nackenmuskulatur und das Fernglas ist geschützt vor Wind und Wetter. Zusammengefasst stellt ein Harness einen Minirucksack für Optik und allerhand Kleinkram dar, der auf der Brust getragen wird, ein nerviges Baumeln und Anstoßen der Optik vermeidet und den Nacken entlastet. Das vorliegende Pirscher Gear Modell in Grün (auch eine Camo-Version ist verfügbar) folgt genau diesem Aufbau. Die Haupttasche ist dank Schaumstoffeinlagen variabel auf die Größe des Glases gestaltbar. Die Maximalgrößen sind laut Hersteller 17 cm Breite und 20 cm Höhe. Bei mir leistete es sowohl mit einem Swarovski SLC 10 x 42 als auch einem deutlich größeren Leica Geovid 8 x 56 R K E gute Dienste. Das Fernglas ist über kleine abnehmbare Sicherheitsschlaufen vor dem Herunterfallen geschützt, der Deckel wie das gesamte Produkt ist durch ein angenehm samtiges Außenmaterial lautlos bedienbar. Am Körper fixiert wird das Harness über ein Quick-Strap-Tragesystem, das sich an vier Punkten auf die Körperform einstellen lässt. Die Tasche selbst weist 2 Seitentaschen für Windprüfer etc. auf sowie ein Innenfach, eine bauseitige Mesh-Tasche mit Gummibund und ein kleines Fächlein an der Front. (Mole-)Schlaufen an der Unterseite runden das Paket ab. Wem das noch nicht reicht (z. B. weil er auch ein Thermalgerät und/oder Entfernungsmesser mitführen und verstauen möchte), dem seien die zusätzlich zu erwerbenden Seitentaschen ans Herz gelegt (39 €, unterschiedliche Ausführungen). FAZIT: Für 119 € erhalten Sie ein durchdachtes, praxisgerechtes Produkt, das preislich i.d.R. unter dem Wettbewerb liegt. Mein einiger Kritikpunkt besteht darin, dass das Produkt im Vergleich zu einem ebenfalls vorliegenden Modell eines US-amerikanischen Herstellers bei starker Beugung des Oberkörpers etwas kopflastig wirkt. Das obere Drittel der Tasche sollte für meinen Geschmack enger am Körper anliegen. Ansonsten ist dieses Harness zu empfehlen.
