The Pirscher Gear Heated Vest was designed as an electrically heated, insulating quilted vest. We also focused on a casual and modern design so it can be worn solo, without needing a jacket over it.
Vest Construction and Features
The Pirscher Gear Heated Vest is equipped with a dual heat function, providing both active and passive warmth.The active heating has three levels, powered by a heating membrane covering a large area of the back. Using the separately available 5,000 mAh Pirscher Gear Power Bank (Art.No. 54330), the vest can provide up to 5 hours of heating. With the 10,000 mAh Power Bank (Art.No. 54331), it heats for up to 8.5 hours.
Passive warmth comes from the heat-reflective thermal coating on the inside of the back. Like an emergency blanket, the silver coating reflects the body’s infrared heat, preventing cooling.
Additionally, the torso is lined with a warm Feather Touch padding. The padding of this quilted vest is securely stitched into a durable Ripstop material. The advantage of Ripstop fabric is its durability; if snagged on a sharp branch in rough terrain, the Ripstop prevents small holes from tearing further.
To prevent cooling, the torso is also windproof and treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellency) coating, which protects against moisture penetration.
The smooth fabric surface allows an outer jacket to slide over it easily, ensuring freedom of movement and high comfort.
The Pirscher Gear Heated Vest has a sporty fit. The high collar is fleece-lined for comfort. The side panels are made from ultra-flexible Powerfleece, which is extremely stretchy for comfort and maintains an optimal body climate. The fleece is breathable and wicks moisture outwards.
The heated vest has a total of four pockets. Two outer side pockets with zippers and warm fleece lining provide storage for small hunting gear. The color-contrasted chest pocket also has a zipper. Additionally, the vest includes an inner pocket for the power bank.

Produkttest in der PIRSCH: "Durchdacht und passgenau"
Jagdzeitschrift PIRSCH, Ausgabe 9/2024 vom 08.05.24: "Auf der winterlichen Drückjagd kann es genauso schnell zugig werden wie bei der morgendlichen Pirsch auf den Bock im Frühjahr. Heizwesten wie das getestete Modell von Pirscher Gear bringen Abhilfe. In einem jagdlichen Moosgrün gehalten schmiegt sich die Weste angenehm an den Oberkörper. Sollte sich das Volumen des oberen Körperkerns im Laufe der Zeit verändern, geht die Weste dank des integrierten Stretchgewebes an den Seiten mir. Die im Lieferumfang enthaltene Powerbank wird in einer Tasche in der Innenseite transportiert und fällt nicht ins Gewicht. Aktiviert wird die "Heizung" über einen Knopf auf der linken Brustseite. Es gibt drei Heizstufen, die den Rücken wärmen. Fazit: Eine Weste, die schon durch ihren Schnitt und Konstruktion Freude macht und Heizmöglichkeit on top bietet.

Ein Traum ...
Ich habe die Weste erst seit 14 Tagen, konnte sie aber schon während meiner Photo-Pirschgänge bei - 12°C ausprobieren. Auch nach 3 Stunden (davon eine beim Ansitz) war mir wohlig warm. Der Rücken, der gerade beim Ansitz durch die gespannte Kleidung leicht kalt wird, war so angenehm warm, wie ich es im Winter bisher nicht kannte. Dabei wärmt die Weste auch schon gut, wenn die Heizung nicht eingeschaltet ist. Ein Kleidungsstück, bei dem man sich fragt: warum habe ich das eigentlich nicht schon viel früher gekauft.
