Woolpower Socks 400

The Woolpower socks 400 are classic medium-thick socks ideal for use from the transitional season into winter.

The number "400" at Woolpower stands for the thickness of the material. The thickness of the socks varies from 200 to 800: the higher the number, the thicker, denser and warmer the fabric. In the Woolpower socks 400, 400g of Ullfrotté Original material is used per 1 m² of fabric. This makes the 400 socks one of the medium-thick and warm Woolpower socks. The medium-thick 400 socks are suitable for use from the transitional season through to winter. The socks can be worn alone or according to layering system in combination with a thinner or thicker Woolpower series. The complete socks have the highly insulating Ullfrotté Original fabric. The socks have an elasticated cuff at the top for optimum support.

The processed Ullfrotté Original material consists of a material mix of 60% merino wool and 40% synthetic fibres. The inside has a soft and airy terry structure. The outside is smoothly woven. This sophisticated material structure allows a lot of air to be trapped tightly around the foot.

To avoid pressure points, the Woolpower underwear has a low-seam finish. The cuffs are elastic. The highly stressed areas at the heel and toes are additionally reinforced.

The natural fibres of merino wool have many advantages. The material is not only very soft, but also very functional. The material is naturally antibacterial and thus counteracts unpleasant odours. Merino wool is also warm even when wet. The fibres can absorb up to 30% of their own weight in moisture and yet do not feel damp. Colour description: Pine Green. The company Woolpower pays a lot of attention to sustainability. Only high-quality materials are used. All products are manufactured in Sweden. Woolpower uses only European wool and German yarn.

Care instructions: Woolpower products can be washed at 60°C and do not shrink. The underwear can even be tumble dried on medium heat.
