Woolpower Socks 200

The Woolpower socks 200 are classic lightweight socks ideal for use in all seasons, whether summer or winter.

The number "200" at Woolpower stands for the thickness of the material. The thickness of the socks varies from 200 to 800: the higher the number, the thicker, denser and warmer the fabric. In the Woolpower socks 200, 200g of Ullfrotté Original material is used per 1 m² of fabric. This makes the 200 socks one of the thinner and lighter Woolpower socks. The socks are particularly suitable for use in lighter shoes. The upper part of the socks is slightly thinner and has elastic cuffs for an optimal fit. The lower part of the foot has the proven Ullfrotté Original fabric with 200g/m², which is warm and high breathable.

The processed Ullfrotté Original material consists of a material mix of 50% merino wool and 50% synthetic fibres. The inside has a soft and airy terry structure. The outside is smoothly woven. This sophisticated material structure allows a lot of air to be trapped tightly around the foot.

To avoid pressure points, the Woolpower underwear has a low-seam finish. The cuffs are elastic. The highly stressed areas at the heel and toes are additionally reinforced.

The natural fibres of merino wool have many advantages. The material is not only very soft, but also very functional. The material is naturally antibacterial and thus counteracts unpleasant odours. Merino wool is also warm even when wet. The fibres can absorb up to 30% of their own weight in moisture and yet do not feel damp. Colour description: Pine Green. Care instructions: Woolpower products can be washed at 60°C and do not shrink. The underwear can even be tumble dried on medium heat.
