The Woolpower socks 600 Knee-High are thick knee-high socks ideal for use from the transition period through to winter in low, icy temperatures.
The number "600" at Woolpower stands for the material thickness. This varies in the socks from 200 to 800: the higher the number, the thicker, denser and warmer the fabric. In the Woolpower socks 600, 600g of Ullfrotté Original material is used per 1 m² of fabric. This makes the 600 socks one of the thickest and warmest Woolpower socks. The thick 600 socks are suitable for use from the transition period through to winter at temperatures below zero. The socks can be worn on their own or in combination with a thinner or thicker Woolpower series according to layering system. The complete socks are made from the highly insulating Ullfrotté Original fabric.
The knee-high socks provide warmth from the tip of the toes right up to the calves. This makes the socks ideal for winter hunting in icy temperatures.
To avoid pressure points, the Woolpower underwear has a low-seam finish. The cuffs are elasticated. The high-wear areas on the heel and toes are additionally reinforced.
The natural fibres of merino wool have many advantages. The material is not only very soft, but also very functional. The material is naturally antibacterial and thus counteracts unpleasant odours. Merino wool also keeps you warm even when wet. The fibres can absorb up to 30% of their own weight in moisture and still not feel damp. Colour description: Pine Green. Material: 60% merino wool, 40% polyamide.
