Our Pirscher Gear Ultralight Tanatex Long-Sleeve Shirt is the ideal companion for hunting and stalking on hot summer days: The quick-drying functional shirt provides camouflage and protects against heat and sun exposure. Additionally, it keeps annoying bloodsuckers like mosquitoes and ticks at bay while inhibiting the formation of odors.
The flexible high-performance polyester ensures that heat and moisture escape extremely quickly with its smooth, air-permeable waffle grid fabric structure, creating an evaporative effect that feels pleasantly cooling on the skin.
Protection Against Odor Formation
While hunting, you want to avoid not only loud noises but also smells. To keep our functional material odor-neutral when sweating, we have incorporated Silvadur Freshness Technology (skin-friendly, OEKO-TEX certified), which actively prevents odor formation. The antimicrobial treatment based on silver ions prevents microorganisms from multiplying in the fabric, thereby preventing odors.
Integrated Tick and Insect Protection
As hunters, we are particularly exposed to the risk of disease transmission through insect bites. That's why we have integrated Tanatex® insect protection; an insect-proof treatment based on permethrin. The odorless insect repellent effectively repels mosquitoes and ticks and lasts up to 40 washes.
Optimal Camouflage with OPTIMAX 2S
Together with the Pirscher Gear Ultralight Camouflage Mask (with Tanatex: Art.Nr. 54256; without Tanatex: Art.Nr. 54257) to camouflage the face, the long-sleeve shirt offers optimal camouflage for the hunter. The OPTIMAX 2S camo pattern is specifically designed for Central European vegetation. It provides excellent camouflage in forest, field, and mountain environments and is highly effective at both short and long distances.

Please note: Permethrin is safe for humans and dogs - like a spot-on treatment against ticks & fleas - and is harmless to health (Source: World Health Organization (WHO) and the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment). However, permethrin can be harmful to cats, so avoid contact with your pet cat. The insect repellent effectively repels mosquitoes and ticks and significantly reduces the burden of insect bites, but similar to mosquito sprays, it cannot guarantee 100% protection.
