We have designed the Pirscher Gear Rugged winter jacket as a hard-wearing outdoor companion for cold, wet days on the hunting ground . The hunting jacket provides reliable protection against low temperatures and any precipitation. At the same time, it is not too warm thanks to its lightweight lining and allows flexible temperature management using the ventilation zips. The modern design and the mix of materials make the jacket a weatherproof winter companion for work and hunting in the hunting ground as well as off the hunt.
The Hardstructrue fabric reinforcements in the most exposed areas protect against wear and tear. The reinforcements are thorn proof, which makes beating much more comfortable.
The durable and hard-wearing outer material is welded directly to the membrane. This prevents moisture from penetrating the top layer. From the shoulders to the elbows, the hunting jacket is also lined with thorn-resistant Hardstructure fabric reinforced.
To increase durability, we have also opted for an environmentally friendly, PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment. The ecological impregnation is based on a fluorine-free formula. It makes the hunting jacket dirt and water repellent resistant to weathering and washing and keeps colours and fabrics looking new for longer.
The warm Feather Touch padding under the membrane acts as an insulating cold barrier. The torso is equipped with a moderate 120 g lining, while the sleeves are slightly lighter at 100 g padded to ensure good mobility. The ventilation zips under the arms ensure good air circulation so that you can quickly release excess heat when things get sweaty.
The practical 2-way zip is protected from wind and moisture by a flap with quiet, rubberised buttons. The high collar lined with cosy fleece and the extended back provide even more weather protection. The adjustable drawcord at the hem and the adjustable cuffs protect against cold draughts.
The jacket's hood is detachable, can be adjusted twice and has a small peak to keep the rain off your face. When designing the hood, we made sure that it restricts the field of vision as little as possible when hunting.
The jacket is equipped with a total of 9 pockets: In addition to an inside pocket, a chest pocket, two spacious front pockets with Velcro for ammunition loops and two slide-in pockets, two Napoleon pockets with warm fleece lining provide space for warming hands and allow a very comfortable waiting position while hunting. A small mesh pocket for a mobile phone is attached to the inside pocket. There is a pocket on the back game bagpocket in which small game or larger items of hunting equipment can be easily stowed.
