The Pirscher Gear Boarbuster Tracking Jacket is our most feature-rich hunting jacket from Pirscher Gear - developed for the high demands of tracking and ideal for driven hunts.  

To ensure that the tracking jacket withstands all adversities, we chose a durable Ripstop material. The wear-resistant Hardstructure fabric reinforcements on the forearms provide optimal protection against branches, thorns, and sharp-edged corn leaves when the arms are raised to protect the face.  

Combined with the powerful membrane with a water column of 8,000 mm (m²/24h) and a breathability of 8,000 g (m²/24h), this hunting jacket reliably protects the hunter in wet and rugged terrain.

Special Functional Elements for Dog Handlers

The Pirscher Gear Boarbuster Tracking Jacket is designed for high visibility and contributes to greater safety during the hunt. In addition to the optimized orange-yellow distribution, additional reflective strips provide improved visibility in darkness, for example during tracking after traffic accidents.

For convenient monitoring of the hunting dog or pack via tracker, the dog handler's jacket is equipped with a specially designed wide-opening pocket on the left chest. The dog tracking device is secured with variable elastic bands, allowing a continuous view of the display without needing to use your hands.

The extra-wide and sturdy belt loops securely hold the dog handler's belt with the necessary equipment, such as boar catchers and more.

Features of the Pirscher Gear Boarbuster Tracking Jacket

Additional practical details include the two small slots in the front pockets. These allow the marker tape to be easily and quickly rolled out. In the removable cartridge holders with Velcro, the ammunition is safely stored in the front pockets.

The cut of the dog handler's jacket offers good freedom of movement while minimizing snagging on vegetation and obstacles. For example, the zippers in the front area are covered so that branches cannot get caught. The windbreaker cuffs with thumb loops and the adjustable cuffs on the sleeves and hem also ensure a secure fit of the jacket during intense hunting activities.

To preserve the brightness of the colors longer and to make the hunting jacket more durable and resilient, the Pirscher Gear Boarbuster Tracking Jacket is treated with an environmentally friendly, PFC-free DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellent). The ecological impregnation makes the jacket dirt- and water-repellent, weather- and wash-resistant, and keeps the colors and fabric looking new longer.  

The jacket is equipped with a total of eight practical pockets. Ample storage space for hunting equipment is provided by two spacious front pockets with flaps, two hand pockets, two chest pockets with waterproof zippers, and three interior pockets.
