The Pirscher Gear Allseason 2.0 Jacket in the Optimax5S camouflage pattern is a technical softshell jacket with a noise-reducing outer material designed for hunting. This windproof & waterproof, ultra-quiet hunting jacket combines high-performance materials with a functional design. It is built to withstand even harsh conditions – a weatherproof all-round companion, optimized for the low-vegetation, second half of the year.

The improved 2.0 version of the Pirscher Gear Allseason Jacket is now even quieter, more breathable, and better insulated thanks to a soft-touch outer fabric and membrane upgrade.

With the new OPTIMAX 5S Camo in subdued brown tones, the hunting jacket offers ultimate camouflage for the low-vegetation season: for duck hunting in the reeds, goose hunting, and crow hunting on harvested fields, or stalking or stand hunting in leafless woods. The camouflage’s colour scheme is specifically tailored to Central European vegetation from autumn to early spring.

When used in the right layering system with suitable functional underwear and a warming mid-layer, the camouflage jacket can be worn year-round.

Construction of the Pirscher Gear Allseason 2.0 Jacket

1st Layer: Noise-reducing outer material
The outer material consists of soft, brushed, and extremely quiet fabric. This results in a significantly improved noise reduction for the hunting jacket. At the same time, the soft-touch outer fabric provides better insulation and ensures a pleasantly warm wearing experience while maintaining durability.

2nd Layer: ADDVENTEX 10.20 membrane
The second layer is an eco-friendly ADDVENTEX ECO 10.20 membrane with a water column of 10,000 mm (m²/24h) and breathability of 20,000g (m²/24h). This membrane achieves maximum results in noise reduction, windproofing, rain protection, and breathability.

The ADDVENTEX ECO 10.20 membrane withstands heavy rain and provides effective protection against moisture. At the same time, it allows moisture in the form of steam to be efficiently transported outside. The high windproofness of the membrane prevents cooling from the wind and retains body heat under the jacket. Despite this, the outer material remains quiet enough to be used for stalking and stand hunting.

The integrated stretch material ensures maximum freedom of movement. As a result, the jacket adapts perfectly to every movement during hunting and doesn't restrict the wearer.

3rd Layer: Waffle-grid fleece
The inner layer of the jacket consists of warm fleece with a waffle structure. The waffle structure forms small air channels in the fleece material, allowing faster moisture transport. Simultaneously, the air pockets also retain body heat better, giving the jacket excellent insulation.

Features of the Pirscher Gear Allseason 2.0 Jacket

To make the hunting jacket more durable and long-lasting, the Pirscher Gear Allseason 2.0 jacket has been treated with an eco-friendly, PFC-free DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellent). The ecological impregnation makes the material dirt- and water-repellent, weather- and wash-resistant, and keeps colours and fabric looking new longer.

Thanks to the waterproof zippers and taped seams, the hunting jacket is completely sealed. Behind the easy-running front zipper with chin guard, a placket provides additional protection from wind and moisture. Further weather protection is ensured by the high collar and extended back.

Excellent temperature management is made possible by the ventilation zips under the arms. They allow you to quickly react and release warm air during sweaty activities.

The Pirscher Gear Allseason 2.0 jacket has a sporty cut. The adjustable sleeve cuffs and adjustable hem ensure a close, comfortable fit. They block out drafts and prevent the jacket from shifting. This makes the fit perfect for active hunting.

The jacket's hood is adjustable in two ways and features a small brim to keep rain off your face. When designing the hood, we ensured it restricts the field of view as little as possible during hunting.

The jacket is equipped with a total of five pockets. Two chest pockets with attachment loops for items like decoy calls and two hand warmer pockets provide storage space for smaller hunting gear. Thanks to the waterproof pocket zippers, technical equipment such as radios or tracking devices remain safely stored. The fleece-lined pockets feel pleasant and warm your hands on cooler hunting days. The chest pockets are equipped with an antenna opening and are positioned to remain easily accessible even when wearing a backpack. Inside the jacket, there’s a zipped pocket for items like a wallet or hunting license.
