The Pirscher Gear Ultralight Tanatex Camouflage Mask with (Optimax 2S) camo pattern is perfect for the height of summer. Thanks to the smooth, cool surface of the air-permeable waffle-grid fabric structure, heat and moisture escape extremely quickly. This creates an evaporative effect that provides a pleasantly cooling effect on the skin.

Integrated Tick and Insect Protection

As hunters, we are particularly exposed to the risk of disease transmission through insect bites. That’s why we have integrated Tanatex® insect protection; an insect-proof treatment based on permethrin. The odorless insect repellent effectively repels mosquitoes and ticks and is effective for up to 40 washes.

Protection Against Odor Formation

When sweating, functional clothing can quickly develop unpleasant odors, which you want to avoid while hunting. The Silvadur Freshness Technology (skin-friendly, OEKO-TEX certified) in the Pirscher Gear Ultralight Tanatex Camouflage Mask actively prevents the formation of odors. The antimicrobial treatment based on silver ions prevents microorganisms from multiplying in the fabric, thus preventing odors.

The OPTIMAX 2S camo pattern is specifically designed for Central European vegetation. It provides excellent camouflage in forest, field, and mountain terrains and is highly effective at both short and long distances.

Please note: Permethrin is safe for humans and dogs - like a spot-on treatment against ticks & fleas - and is harmless to health (Source: World Health Organization (WHO) and the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment). However, permethrin can be harmful to cats, so avoid contact with your pet cat. The insect repellent effectively repels mosquitoes and ticks and significantly reduces the burden of insect bites, but similar to mosquito sprays, it cannot guarantee 100% protection.
