The pheasant dummy from Dokken is ideal for retrieve training. The dummy is very similar to a real pheasant in shape, appearance and weight. The head and foot of the pheasant dummy are made of hard plastic. The body of the dummy is made of firm foam. The foam part can also be injected with scents using the Dokken Scent Injection Kit to give the dummy a realistic smell as well.
Because the head and foot part is hard plastic and the belly is foam, the dog is automatically trained to grab the pheasant in the middle. The free hanging hard plastic head prevents the dog from shaking the pheasant. In addition, the dummy has a throwing line with which the dummy can be thrown well and far.
