The dog protection vest Kevlar is a 5-layer protective waistcoat for hunting dogs and is ideal for protecting the dog at driven hunt or blood trailing. The dog protection vest offers reliable protection in the neck, burst, back and belly area.
The waistcoat consists of 5 layers. The first outer layer is made of particularly robust 500D polyester. The second layer is made of canvas. The third and fourth layers are made of Dupont Kevlar. The fifth layer is an airy mesh lining, which releases moisture and heat well. The waistcoat has been tested for impact resistance by the ITV test laboratory and has a puncture resistance of at least 710 N.
The dog waistcoat has puncture-resistant Kevlar inserts to protect against injuries. The dog waistcoat is very suitable for sow hunting and protects against sow stings. The material is water repellent. The waistcoat has a reflective tape which can be labelled with name and telephone number. The waistcoat has a high neck collar to protect the neck. In addition, the dog protection vest has a ring on the neck collar for attaching locating bells.
The dog protection vest has an overlap with Velcro fastening. Underneath are three fastening straps with Velcro fasteners. This ensures that the waistcoat sits firmly on the dog and cannot slip. There is a mesh pocket for GPS tracking devices on the underside of the overlap. There is also a pocket with a zip on the top where you can attach a tracking device. (Vest not bulletproof). Outer material 100% polyester. Inner inserts made of Kevlar.
